Fort XX is one of 22 fortresses built around Olomouc in the mid-19th century by Emperor Franz Joseph I. The unique space of Fortress No. XX in Křelov has survived military actions and the whims of nature almost entirely in its original state. Today, it serves as a venue for events, corporate celebrations, teambuilding activities, concerts, weddings, and festivals. The peaceful and expansive grounds, located in the fields far from the nearest residential houses, allow for events that cannot be held or fully appreciated in city centers. The adjacent meadow, featuring a stone circular fire pit and relaxation areas, is open to the public for leisure. Within the Fort XX complex, to the right toward Křelov, there is an additional 2.5-hectare meadow, which includes an orchard dedicated to the restoration of heritage fruit tree varieties.
